What kind of beer should I brew?

SLOTH asked:

I’ve got a home brewing kit. Which of these beers sound good? I can’t decide.
Cherry Stout?
India Pale Ale?
Pilsner?
Pumpkin Ale?
Other?
What’s you favorite type if non of these sound good?

I prefer “Darrells Squishy Carpet Ale”

It’s a combination of the two 5 gallon buckets of home brew I made that fell off the counter and mixed together on my buddy Darrells rug. First I cried then freaked out cause I had no way to quickly soak up 10 gallons of beer that was rapidly sinking into the sub floor. Thank God he rented that place..

It has been my experience that it is easier to make ale or pilsner in warmer months and lager or flavored beers in the winter. If you are making a 5 or 6 gallon batch follow any recipe but add a pound of brown sugar at the end of your boiling time.
